Buy Queens Beasts Gold Coins

The Queen’s Beasts are a series of coins taking inspiration from 10 heraldic statues that stood guard at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The first coin in the series to be released was the Lion of England coin which was issued back in 2016. Since then new editions have been released sporadically with the Black Bull of Clarence the latest coin to be issued earlier this year. The Black Bull of Clarence was first seen on the shield of King Edward VI and is said to represent power, strength, pride, and patriotism. Gold coins are available in weights of 1oz, 2oz and ¼ oz. Like other bullion coins produced by the Royal Mint, the standard 1oz gold coin has a face value of £100 and is classed as legal tender in the UK.
The Queen’s Beasts were positioned outside Westminster Abbey for the Queen's coronation in 1953. Although the beasts themselves were colourless, each of them was shown supporting a coloured shield of arms bearing the badge of a family associated with Queen Elizabeth II’s ancestry. In 1967 the statues were painted to match their full heraldic colours and are now on display at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau. All ten beasts were sculpted in plaster by James Woodford. They are 6 feet tall and weigh 700lbs.

The series is a beautiful and striking set of coins, perfect for individuals looking to invest in gold bullion. One side features a stunning image of a heraldic beast designed by British designer Jody Clarke whilst the obverse side features Jody Clarke’s famous portrayal of Elizabeth Second. Queen’s Beast Gold coins have a guaranteed purity of 999.9, making them an attractive investment for bullion investors. The fact they are British legal tender also means investors can make an unlimited amount of profit on them throughout the tax year without having to pay any kind of capital gains tax. For collectors inspired by the Royal Family or British tradition and heritage, the collection represents a poignant piece of British history. Gold Queen’s Beasts coins are produced in relatively limited amounts and with only 10 coins scheduled to be released in the collection, many investors will look to collect the entire series. The coins themselves come in their own airtight plastic packaging for protection.
