This is a 1oz silver bullion coin produced by renowned mint Perth Mint. Coins will be shipped in a sachet for modest orders, in tubes of 20, 100 in a small box and 500 in a alrge box. The 1oz Silver Swanis continues the Perth Mint theme of celebrating flora and fauna.

It is issued in 999.9 fine silver and has a face value of $AUD1.

Design

The silver swan coin fits in well with the design of the other Perth Mint animal themed coins. The reverse of the coin features the main illustration of the majestic swan in the middle, housed within a prominent circle which provides the coin description.

The coin obverse features the well recognised portrait for Queen Elizabeth II, as used on all other Perth Mint coins. The edging confirms the Face value of 1 Australian Dollar.

Our Expert Opinion

The Perth Mint range of coins are popular to collectors and modest investors. If investment is the main focus, then the coins can command a hefty premium if low in supply. To be tax efficient, it may also be worth considering adding some UK silver coins such as the Silver Britannia, whch benefit from being Capital Gains Tax free.
