Queens Beasts Silver Coins
Silver Queen’s Beast coins were released at the same time as the gold series. Between 2016 and 2021 the Royal Mint plans to release a series of 10 coins featuring all of the 10 heraldic beasts present at Queens Elizabeth II’s coronation. They bridge the gap beautifully between investment coins and coins which will benefit from huge collector’s demand.

The silver series was designed by Jody Clark, one of the most prestigious British artists designing coins today. He is most well-known for designing the current portrayal of Queen Elizabeth used in most modern-day coins produced by the Royal Mint. According to the artist himself, he took inspiration for the coin designs from both the original statues, now displayed in Canada’s museum of history and their replicas in Kew Gardens.
