Strictly limited to a mintage of only 5,000 pieces, this egg-shaped silver coin is minted to proof finish and presented in a beautiful gift box. Each coin contains 1oz or 999.9 purity silver and features a 20 Canadian Dollar face value. Each purchase contains official certification.

Pysanka design

The obverse of this highly unusual coin features the familiar portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in a matt finish, sat on a polished background decorated with a subtle swirl effect.

The reverse of the Pysanka egg coin really comes to life with a huge splash of colour. All previous issues from 2016 have sold out and this 2019 version uses updated colous of black with variuous shades of yellow on the triangular design. The size and placing of the triangles creates a three dimensional look to the 1oz silver coin.

The Pysanka is a Ukranian Easter egg, famous for using wax rather than paint to celebrate traditional folk designs.
