This is a 1oz silver bullion coin, featuring the famous Meercat, and forms part of the Rwanda Wildlife series of coins. Each coin, minted by Refinery BH Mayer contains 31.103 grams of 999 purity silver.

Each coin comes in plastic sachet and has a face value of 50 Rwandan Francs.

Rwanda Wildlife series

The coin series celebrates Africa’s awesome wildlife kingdom, with each coin reverse featuring one of the esteemed animals of Rwanda.

First launched in 2009, the earlier silver coins in the series showcased the elephant, Impala, Zebra, Rhino and Cheetah.

The obverse of the Rwanda Meercat coin depicts the Rwandan Coat of Arms.
