2019 1oz Silver Lunar Pig Coin
The 1oz Silver Lunar Pig is the latest silver coin design in the Royal Mint’s Shengxiao Collection. This is a brand-new bullion finish coin, issued by the Royal Mint. The coins are issued without expensive presentation boxes to maximize the amount of silver for your money. Coins will be packaged loose for small quantities and orders of 20 or more may come in Royal Mint foiling, and boxes of 100.
This coin contains 1oz of fine silver. These coins have a limited mintage of 138,888 coins
The coin is designed by artist Wuon-Gean Ho and features a pig being suckled by five piglets on one side with the inscription ‘Year of the Pig 2019’ and the obverse has the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
The face value of this coin is £2 and as such, qualifies as legal UK tender, so it is not liable to Capital Gains Tax on any profits made from its sale.
